SMS On Balakrishna's 'New Party'

Barely has Balakrishna made an indirect political debut of sorts with his power packed speech at the recent 'Yuvagarjana' that the opposition has already started its own style of marketing against him in a rather lighter vein but with the help of technology. Incidentally, there is an SMS that is making rounds.

The message reads "Balakrishna inspired by Chiru and enters into politics...party name is @ISHTARAJYAM@ and caption is "NARUKUDE LAKSHYAM- NARAKAME MAARGAM" and this is being passed to various people in a rather aggressive way. Though on a surface, it looks to be a rather funny quote, folks say that it does contain a bit of political undertone in it making a mockery of Balayya.

This has become quite a common trend with parties using mobile technology or internet to have a reverse campaigning of sorts so since the reach to the common man has become easy through mobiles, SMS canvassing is the new name of the game that the politicians are adopting to spread their word.

Behind The Scene: Naidu has gone crazy

Looks like Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu will go to any extent to gain political mileage.

Look at the way he is making allegations against Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his son Jaganmohan Reddy, involving their names in the murder of a criminal like Julakanti Srinivasa Reddy alias Moddu Srinu. Earlier, he alleged that Moddu Srinu was hired by YSR and his son; now he says Moddu Srinu was killed by them. One would understand if Naidu alleges that YSR was protecting Suri, but how can anybody believe that YSR himself was behind the murder? There should be some sense in making wild allegations.

By the way, what would YSR and Jagan would gain by killing Moddu Srinu? If one has to believe Naidu's allegations, why should one not go by Omprakash's comments that he had the Telugu Desam support? Well, it is all political game.

Congress' Feature Film On 'Jamatha Dasamagraha'

Not sure how much this has really worked but then ever since the time of the legendary NTR, the Congress party has been coming out with spoofs on him in the form of movies and some of the classic examples for that are 'Mandaladheesudu' 'Gandikota Rahasyam' 'Kaliyuga Viswamitra' and others that made a mockery of the iconic star.

Now, something like that is being chalked out to take down none other than N Chandrababu Naidu. There is news that Congress is funding Rs 2 crores to make a movie wherein Vijayachander is to play NTR, Banerjee to play Chandrababu Naidu, Jeevita is playing Purandareshwari, Tamil actor Daggubati Raja playing Daggubati Venkateshwara Rao characters.

Other junior artistes and dupes are being roped in to play Balakrishna, Harikrishna and others. Plans are on to complete the shooting within 20 days and all this will be happening in Padmalaya studios. There will be no songs in this but only political satire to show how Chandrababu killed NTR.
